The Walker Ranch
has deep roots in Northwest Oklahoma, and one of its most iconic landmarks was the historic Chimney Rock near Freedom—a towering natural formation that once reached nearly 400 feet. That landmark inspired the logo you see today at Walker’s Western Store.
Chimney Rock fell on March 13, 1973, a moment the Walker family still talks about. Wade’s dad remembers driving across the ranch that day, looking up and thinking he’d taken a wrong turn because the landmark that guided generations was suddenly gone.
For four generations, our family has lived and worked the Western lifestyle here in Northwest Oklahoma. Walker’s Western Store is our way of carrying that legacy forward—sharing the traditions, values, and way of life our great-granddads started long before us.
We opened our first Walker’s Western Store in November 2022 in Downtown Woodward, followed by our second location in September 2023 in Downtown Enid.
And we’re just getting started.
